15 hh, 8 years old. This gelding is extremely quiet - absolutely unflappable and one of the safest and easy going horses I’ve ever known. He has a huge personality, great nature, is super friendly, loves attention and will follow you around just to be with you.
He has been there and done that: Hacking, sporting, inter-school competitions, pony club, active riders, clinics, trail riding (bush and beach), campdrafting, team penning, mustering and been shown at halter. Works well off your legs, has a good stop and a soft mouth. Absolutely no dirt or vices. Never gets hot or worked up. Totally Mr Cool!. Sure-footed, three steady paces and very comfortable to ride. Easily handled and ridden by both children and adults.
Holds condition extremely well. Great feet – doesn’t need shoes. Completely sound (vet check welcome). Ties up patiently all day if needed (no pulling back or pawing), self-loads onto the float, good to trim, rug, wash and catch. Can ride around bareback in a halter. Excellent manners and very respectful of his handler. Absolutely nothing nasty about this boy. Can be spelled and brought back into work without drama. Good out on his own or in company. Confident horse that doesn’t shy. Good paddock mate - not clingy or bossy. Doesn’t have separation issues. Great around kids, dogs, machinery, traffic and noise.
